I searched this particular carrier out at Pet Smart and Petco…. and got the exact one we needed via Amazon for far less than both stores above were asking. Very good value!!

I used this carrier to take a pet parrot on board with me during a recent airplane trip. It worked very well for this purpose. The carrier is sturdy and versatile, and it fit easily under the seat in front of me. There are zippers on both ends and in the middle which allowed the bird to see me and allowed me to reach in to comfort her. She was able to poke a hole or two in the netting, but it is much stronger than most I’ve seen, and if it withstands a parrot’s beak for five or six hours, that’s quite a recommendation!
