I use Petmate Fresh Flow filters, but have to change them more often than the recommended month, because I have three cats. I’m sure they last longer for only one pet. They can also be removed, after turning off the water filter, and rinsed well then re-inserted. I do this sometimes when I don’t have time to change the filter and clean the water fountain, but I clean and change it as close to once a week as possible. Again, with only one pet, this probably wouldn’t be necessary.

We have been using Bags on Board for a couple years now. They are convenient for carrying with the specially designed leash-attach case. Since they are biodegradable, we even use them when we scoop out the kitty box. Amazon has the best price I’ve found on these baggies. When I don’t have any other purchases to make, I purchase enough bags to qualify for free “super saver” shipping. We’ll certainly use them!

These pledgets are terrific for cleaning my bulldogs face folds and also for drying out the tear stain area. Keeping that spot dry is half the battle, and its already won when I use these wipes! Keeps my bullys faces clean and stops the odor. I keep a supply of at least 2 extra containers…I’d be lost if I ran out! I also use it for their doggie chin pimples and minor scrapes & scratches. I highly recommend this product!

Excellent Low Cost Dog Cover

There are similar higher quality products on the market, but you can’t get more for less than you get with this product. I have a 70 lb lab and leather seats and haven’t had one problem with this hammock. Obviously, protecting your seats is best benefit, but it is also great for preventing your dog from falling behind the seats. My dog loves leaning against the hammock when sleeping on a longer ride. (Although, if your dog like to visit you up front, you might want to find another restraint, it may not hold them back depending on how persistent your dog is).

At first look, it doesn’t seem like much but mine hasn’t torn and my seats are in perfect condition after 6 months of continual use to and from hiking/swimming trips. Like others have said, I’m not sure how long the velcro (used to remove the “hammock” feature if needed) or the straps will last but I figure it will last long enough vs. the cost. It doesn’t have a perfect fit at the upper corners near the head rests, but since the dog doesn’t paw there, it doesn’t matter to me.

If you care that it “looks nice” as well as be functional, this isn’t for you, but if you want a good low cost cover that protects your seats – I highly recommend it.

Another added benefit – It’s great for hiding personal belongings behind the driver/passenger seats.

Turned my 9 month old Rottie into a perfect gentleman

I was very hesitant to use a shock collar on my dog so I tried everything else I could think of to control his jumping, barking and general disobedience. I worked with him myself, hired a trainer, and purchased an audio and spray correction device but nothing worked. With two small children in the house I could not afford to have an uncontrollable dog. Maybe if he were a miniature pinscher or pug it wouldn’t be a big deal but Hades was going to be a 125 to 140 pound Rottweiler when he is full grown. That would be a recipe for disaster. I purchased the Deluxe big dog trainer from Amazon (at the best price available). Five days later when I received it I still did not want to use it. After trying each stimulation setting on myself (even at level 10 it is not painful but it does command your attention), I adjusted the collar and placed it on my puppy. Saying that there was an almost instant change in his demeanor would be an understatement. He was a different dog in just a couple of days. Within 2 days I only had to use the sound to correct him. And now, only a few weeks later, I don’t even need to turn the collar on. He is a pleasure and I know that this product is the reason for his change. Thank you Petsafe for this wonderful product.
